MC Academy, a prestigious and renowned private English school based in two locations in Manchester and Liverpool, United Kingdom, seeks a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager for the Asia region (covering Thailand, South Korea, Japan and other countries). Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Sales, Marketing, Business, or Education) preferred.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, ideally within the education sector.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, remotely, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English and Thai (or another dominant language in your target market) is required.
- In-depth knowledge of the education system and English language learning trends within the Asia region is a strong plus.
- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment and demonstrating cultural sensitivity is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fluency in Thai: Business Development and constant communication with agents.
- Market Research:Conduct in-depth research to identify potential student segments, understand cultural nuances, and analyze regional education trends in the Asia region.
- Lead Generation:Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies through various channels such as social media campaigns, educational fairs, partnerships with local institutions, and targeted online advertising.
- Outreach and Relationship Building:Proactively reach out to prospective students and their families through culturally appropriate channels, providing comprehensive information about our courses, curriculum, and benefits. Build strong relationships by understanding their unique needs and aspirations, addressing their concerns, and fostering long-term engagement.
- Enrollment Management:Guide students through the enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience. This includes handling necessary paperwork, managing payments, and facilitating visa applications if required.
- Reporting and Analysis:Regularly track progress against targets, analyze sales data, and provide insightful reports to the management team. Utilize data to adapt strategies and optimize performance.
- Collaboration:Partner with the UK-based admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for enrolled students and maintain clear communication across teams.
- Cultural Awareness:Demonstrate a deep understanding of the diverse cultures and sensitivities within the Asia region, adapting communication and approach accordingly.
- Additional Responsibilities:Depending on your skillset, you may also be responsible for building and managing a local team of representatives, developing marketing materials tailored to the Asia market, and attending industry events to showcase MC Academy.
