Linguistically, students will analyse key language points, such as grammatical structures used in both a natural and stylistic manner, combined with vocabulary which could be specific to a given topic or applicable to a certain format.
What reading material will be studied in this class?
National Geographic is renowned for having a high standard of accurate and up-to-date journalism, allowing students to learn about relevant and topical issues. We have chosen the Traveller specific theme due to the fact that the topics remain appropriate throughout, avoiding political and controversial themes, whilst still providing an insight into the subtopics of ‘Travel’, including marketing, advertising, planning, history, food, geography, recommendations, art, nature, architecture and more!
