EAP (English for Academic Purposes) - MC Academy

The course

Prepare for university studies. Improve your academic writing, academic reading, critical thinking skills, and awareness of academic vocabulary. Our EAP course is a skills class and can be studied alongside a General English or IELTS Exam Preparation course.

The EAP course at MC Academy is designed for students who wish to pursue an academic career by studying at a UK university. Our EAP course provides students with the academic skills and knowledge to progress to higher education in the UK.

“We chose to do the course because we knew it could offer us opportunities to prepare for university skills.

Not only was the course considered to be challenging and a little frustrating at times, but it was also found to provide new information about academic culture, develop complex grammar and improve vocabulary.”
